"profound" thought of the day

People often talk of the deceased as 'looking down on them' from heaven.
If that's all the afterlife is, then the closest thing to Heaven on Earth is TV.

ok, continuing thoughts:
It's always bugges me when people say that, because I always think to myself, 'well....maybe, but I think they've got much better things to do than that. Would you really want your afterlife to consist of watching your relatives?' I think Christians say this without comparing what they're saying to their theology. Maybe people can watch the unfolding of time on earth after they die, but if they're actually with God now, in perfected form, well, I think they'll be a lot more interested in Him than watching us scurry around.

So long as God is watching me, I don't really care if anyone else is. I'm pretty sure He can take good care of me. =)

LOL (quite literally, ask Robert). I knew there was a reason I liked TV! (= Well, some TV anyway. Like Lost, despite its general popularity...

Yeah, I think I'm with you on this one.
