18 yards of denim

I recently got a job at Jo-Ann's fabric store. Shortly after I began working there I started having nightmares involving large quantities of fabric which I am attempting to fold or cut or measure. In one dream I had measured out 18 yards of denim and cut it and was attempting to fold it all up when the lady decided she didn’t want it afterall. I woke up restlessly trying to fold my blankets. I hope this will pass once I'm more used to working there.

I'm sitting here trying to decide if your dream was abnormally wierd, or if it's just wierd in relation to my dreams. I'm leaning toward the latter. The blue denim would have turned into a sea and drown me or I would have had to find a boat or swim through it or something... and the woman who ordered the denim... she would be forgotten in the blue ocean waves...

Hahahaha!!

That's like my dreams of shelving books all night long after helping shelve books at the library....

Your dreams are always very interesting, aren't they.

yes they are, last night I dreamed I had a pet duckling - he was so cute! But then he grew up to be a Komodo Dragon. I was glad when it ran away.

Yes, I am posting a comment on something written, what, 2 and a half years ago... yikes. (Also, from this, I guess you were still in Orange County as recently as this post, Sep 05? When did you move?)

Anyways, my actual comment is that - if I've got this straight - you had one or several bad dreams... which mostly involved you folding fabric...

And in your prior blog, you were totally awake, and had a fun mental picture which involved floating bloodsucking jellyfish sleeves!

That's really impressive! You managed to flip each possibility completely around in each case! Good/bad, awake/dream... Good and awake involves bloodsucking, bad and dream involves fabric...

teehee.

Now we shall see if you have email notification or else you will never find out about this comment! Muahaha!
